We believe that what we do within each ministry should flow purposefully out of what we value and love. Whether you have a family of 5 or are single and love to ride your mountain bike, you'll find a place to help you experience God.
The teaching of children is very important. Children need a stable base of faith by which to face the future. At Mission of Grace Church, we desire to support parents and help kids learn about Jesus in an age-appropriate manner. All teachers are parents themselves, many who have small children, and desire to patiently and lovingly help your child learn biblical truth. Our job is to support, but never to supplant, you the parent. Accordingly, we defer to parents for diaper changes and any discipline that a child may need. Background checks are conducted for all child teachers and we use a check-in system for child safety.
Youth today face serious challenges with the rise of drug abuse, atheism and apathy. Our goal as a church is two-fold. First, we want to answer your teenager’s questions from the truth of the Bible. No one expects blind faith because “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God” (Romans 10:17). Second, the youth of today so desperately need to experience having a good time together without resorting to drugs, illicit sex or other sinful behavior.
Men today have a major responsibility to lead their lives and their families in a responsible manner. Our group aims to equip men with the truth they need to counteract the plethora of lies and false paths that our world offers to the unwary. Moreover, men need to experience the comradery and support of other men as they are built up in the faith. In so doing, they can live a life of great blessing. Our goal is to teach and encourage men to live as men of God. “Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another” (Proverbs 27: 17).
Women often feel alone in our world as they are bombarded with worldly expectations on how to look and how to be the perfect wife, parent or career person. The church is a safe place where women can gather and support one another with empathy and biblical truth and without judgment. In addition, ministry to mothers and grandmothers is sorely needed as the pressures of parenting for single moms, stay-at-home moms and grandmothers raising their grandkids can be stressful and isolating. The church seeks to equip women to live out their faith in the family, the workplace, and the world with vitality and joy.
